ZA Bank Limited (“ZA Bank”) Member Get Member Programme (“MGM Programme”) Terms and Conditions(“T&Cs”)

1.  To be eligible for the MGM Programme, the participant (“Participant”) must:

  1.1  be a valid account holder of a ZA Bank account;

  1.2  pass the internal review which will be completed by ZA Bank upon or after successful account opening ;

2.  The period for the MGM Programme is from 15th April 2020 till 31st July 2020 (“Period”).

3.  During the Period, the Participant will be eligible to the cash reward in Clauses 4 and 5 if the conditions below are fulfilled (“Successful Referral”):

  3.1  The Participant refers a person (“Referee”) to successfully open an account with ZA Bank during the Period by:

    (a)  The Participant will receive an invitation code relating to the MGM Programme; and the Participant must forward that invitation code to the Referee;

    (b)  the Referee must redeem the invitation code and successfully submit an account opening application with the invitation code; and

    (c)  such other additional requirements imposed by ZA Bank are fulfilled.

  3.2  The Referee must be a new customer to ZA Bank since 15 April 2020 and does not hold any product or service with ZA Bank (including but not limited to deposit account and loan account) before 15 April 2020; and

  3.3  The Referee has successfully opened an account with ZA Bank; and

  3.4  The Referee has passed ZA Bank’s internal review for account opening.

4.  Upon Successful Referral, the Participant and the Referee shall be rewarded according to the criteria as set out below (“Reward Criteria”).

5.  Subject to Clause 3, the Participant shall receive his/her cash reward in accordance with Clause 4 above if,

  5.1  the status of the Participant’s account with ZA Bank remains valid and be in normal state. If his/her account is closed during the Period, ZA Bank has the right to forfeit the cash reward without prior notice, and no reward will be credited to any other account or through any other means until the status of such account is back to normal; and

6.  The cash reward will be credited to the Participant’s account maintained with ZA Bank. If the account is under internal review, the cash reward will be credited to his/her account maintained with ZA Bank upon completion of internal review.

7.  Participants must not refer themselves as Referees. Participants and Referees who refer each other to open an account with ZA Bank will not be eligible for the MGM Programme. A Referee who has been successfully referred by one Participant cannot be repeatedly referred by the same Participant or other Participant(s).

8.  Subject to Clause 4, each referee is entitled to the reward in accordance with the Reward Criteria once only.

9.  Term of Use of Rate-up Coupon:

  9.1  Referee will receive a Rate-up Coupon in the ZA Bank account under Clause 4 above.

  9.2  The Rate-up Coupon applies a promotional interest rate to time deposits placed by the Referee in their ZA Bank account. The additional interest rate at 2% per annum is specified on the Rate-up Coupon and is applied on top of ZA Bank’s basic time deposit annual interest rate.

  9.3  The maximum placement of time deposit to be entitled for the Rate-up Coupon is HKD50,000 with a maturity period of three (3) months.

  9.4  The Rate-up Coupon shall expire after 15 days from the date of the Successful Referral. No Rate-up Coupon will be reissued after expiry. For the avoidance of doubt, the date of Successful Referral means the date on which the Referee successfully opens an account with ZA Bank under Clause 3.3 above.

  9.5  The Rate-up Coupon can be used once only and cannot be transferred to others, converted to cash or other products or used with other vouchers.

10.  All rewards cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged or converted into other form, unless otherwise specified.

11.  ZA Bank reserves the right to adjust, withdraw or cancel the MGM Programme, the reward, and to amend or revise any of these T&Cs from time to time without prior notice and without assigning any reasons whatsoever

12.  In case of any ambiguity, doubts or disputes arising out of or under any of these terms and conditions or any communications, the decision of ZA Bank is final and conclusive in all circumstances without assigning any reasons whatsoever and no correspondence will be entered into.

13.  The referral offer cannot be rewarded/used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be transferred or exchanged for cash or other.

15.  These T&Cs are governed in all respects by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

16.  In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of these T&Cs, the English version shall prevail.
